The Clemson Insider takes a look back at No. 7 Clemson’s 5-1 win over No. 23 South Carolina on Saturday afternoon at Fluor Field to even the traveling weekend rivalry series.

What happened?

The Tigers (9-1) pushed across the game’s first run in the third as Logan Davidson and Seth Beer started the inning with back-to-back singles before a sac fly from Patrick Cromwell made it 1-0. The Gamecocks (7-4) tied the game in the next frame but Clemson answered right back. Grayson Byrd and Bryce Teodosio drew consecutive walks to start the inning before a Beer sac fly and RBI single from Cromwell gave the Tigers a 3-1 lead.
