CLEMSON, SC — TCI takes a look back at #14 Clemson’s (20-6, 6-4) 14-6 win over Pittsburgh (12-10, 4-6) on Friday evening at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.
What happened?
The Panthers took an early 1-0 lead with back-to-back hits to start the contest. The Tigers would tie the game in the second on a wild pitch before taking the lead with a three-run fourth inning thanks to a RBI double from Seth Beer and RBI singles by Weston Wilson and Reed Rohlman. Clemson extended the lead to 6-1 in the fourth as Beer drew a bases load walk and another run scored on a wild pitch.
