The Clemson Insider takes a look back at No. 22 Clemson’s 12-0 win over Georgia on Tuesday night at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.
It marked Clemson’s first shutout over Georgia at Clemson since April 6, 1977 – a 2-0 win. It was also the first time the Tigers shutout the Bulldogs by 12 or more runs since a 23-0 victory on April 5, 1946.
What happened?
The Tigers (25-12) scored early and often against the Bulldogs (20-18). Clemson plated five runs on five hits in the first inning, highlighted by back-to-back two-run doubles from Reed Rohlman and Chris Williams.
