ATHENS, GA — TCI takes a look back at No. 12 Clemson’s (22-7) 11-6 comeback win over Georgia (17-13) on Tuesday night at Foley Field.
What happened?
The Tigers took the first lead of the game with two runs in the second on a KJ Bryant RBI single and a bases loaded HBP to Seth Beer to take a 2-0 lead. The Bulldogs answered with two runs in the bottom of the frame and Clemson regained the lead in the fourth on a bases loaded walk to Weston Wilson. Georgia would score two runs in the fifth to take a 4-3 lead and add another run in the sixth for a 5-3 advantage.
