Blythewood (S.C.) 2019 edge-rusher Patrick Godbolt is having an outstanding junior season and starting to draw interest from major programs including Clemson.
Godbolt made an unofficial visit to Clemson last Saturday for the Tigers’ game against Wake Forest. He had been to Clemson as a fan, but the visit marked his first to the school as a prospect.
“I had a great time on the visit,” Godbolt told TCI. “My family had a great time, but I loved the atmosphere of the game and would love to be a part of it one day.”
The visit gave Godbolt an opportunity to meet Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables.
