The sole in-state prospect at Clemson’s elite junior day on Saturday was big Moncks Corner (S.C.) Berkeley offensive lineman Kamren McCray.
It was the third visit to Clemson for McCray, who competed at the Dabo Swinney Camp last summer and attended a game in Death Valley each of the last two seasons.
“It was great,” McCray said of the latest visit. “I really got to enjoy hanging out with the coaches.”
McCray (6-6, 325) spent the most time with Clemson offensive line coach Robbie Caldwell and co-offensive coordinator Tony Elliott.
“They mainly were talking about the school, the different things on campus and asking about my upcoming season,” McCray said.
