Clemson, S.C.—Mitch Hyatt, Christian Wilkins and Greg Huegel have all been named to Freshman All-America teams. Hyatt has been named to first teams announced by the Sporting News and USA Today. Wilkins was also named to the Sporting News first team, while Huegel was selected by USA Today.
The Football Writers Freshman All-America team will be announced after the bowl games.
Hyatt started every game at left tackle for Clemson’s 13-0 team that is ranked No. 1 in the nation in all three polls. He played 895 snaps in those starts and had an average film grade of 88 percent.
