How Dabo had his career day as a player in a game against South Carolina

As Clemson head coach, Dabo Swinney has a losing record (4-5) against South Carolina, including a 5-game losing streak from 2009-2013.

But as a player, well, that was a career highlight for the then Alabama receiver.

Swinney first competed against the Gamecocks in 1992 as a player -- his senior year at Alabama. In a 48-7 Alabama victory against USC in Tuscaloosa, Swinney had two receptions for 22 yards, the only game in his career he had more than one catch, and his single-game high for reception yards.

Swinney was on the Alabama coaching staff that defeated South Carolina in 1993 and 2000.
