All Landon Holden needed was a nod from the school.
On Monday night, the linebacker from Chapman told TheClemsonInsider that he was accepted to attend Clemson University.
“The word…always was just get in, then we’ll talk,” Holden said. “Finally that I’m in, I’m just waiting on the report date.”
Newberry and Limestone offered. Wofford, Charleston Southern, Liberty and PC had preferred walk-on offers on the table.
“If I would have went there, I would have had some academic money and everything, so those were kind of options,” Holden said. “But, in the long-run, I thought Clemson would be the best the best option for me and kind of what I feel like what I need to do.
