The last time the media spoke with Marion Hobby, he had Shaq Lawson and Kevin Dodd playing the defensive end positions at Clemson. Those two combined for 49 tackles for loss and 24.5 sacks in 2015.
Of course that was before the national championship game against Alabama. A lot has changed since then at defensive end. Hobby lost both Lawson and Dodd to the NFL, leaving him with perhaps the most inexperience he has had at his position since the 2012 season when he had a senior named Malliciah Goodman, Corey Crawford and young and a very inexperienced player by the name of Vic Beasley.
