COLUMBIA — TCI hands out helmet stickers after Clemson’s 37-32 win over South Carolina.
There were several worthy candidates in the regular-season finale.
Deon Cain
A giant void was created when Mike Williams went down with a neck injury in the season-opener. Gone from Clemson’s high-powered offense was the best option in the downfield passing game. Once again, Cain proved himself to be a more-than-capable replacement. The freshman from Tampa caught five passes for 96 yards against the Gamecocks. His touchdown, a 55-yard strike from Deshaun Watson, staked the Tigers to an early 14-0 lead.
