K.J. Chamberlain, one of the state’s top defensive backs in the 2016 class, visited Clemson earlier this month for the Orange and White game.
“The trip was good. I enjoyed it. I got to see how the players do in pre-game. Got to meet with the coaches a little bit and just walk around the school,” Chamberlain told TheClemsonInsider, during a recent interview.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound cornerback from Greenwood-Emerald currently lists offers from Appalachian State, Charlotte, Miami of Ohio, Buffalo, Mercer and Gardner Webb.
Chamberlain remains under evaluation by Clemson and defensive backs coach Mike Reed keeps in touch.
