Former Clemson safety T.J. Green was selected No. 57 overall overall in Friday’s 2016 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts on Friday night.
Some thought Green could have been selected in the first-round of the draft after producing a 4.3 40-time at the NFL Combine in February.
In his first year as a starter, Green had 130 tackles to rank third on a defense that finished the 2015 season ranked No. 10 in total defense. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound safety had five tackles for loss and one sack to go along with three passes broken up.
Green is the third Clemson player to be selected on Friday and the fourth former defensive player selected overall in the draft.
