Clemson scored its first visit from Tampa-Hillsborough defensive end Zachary Carter last month for the Florida State game.
The four-star prospect is ranked as the No. 6 strong-side defensive end in the country, according to 247.
Along with Clemson, Florida, Ohio State, Ole Miss and Penn State are among the schools with offers out to Carter.
“I remember the crazy atmosphere and I really enjoyed the coaches and what they’re about, and I loved the campus,” Carter said of Clemson.
Marion Hobby, Tony Elliott and Dan Brooks all spoke to Carter, who was offered by the Tigers during the May evaluation period.
