D.J. Turner, the top-ranked 2019 cornerback in the Peach State, has visited Clemson often over the years for multiple games and sessions of the Dabo Swinney Camp.
The four-star from North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, Ga., returned to Clemson again last month for the Tigers’ elite junior day.
The Clemson Insider caught up with Turner, who once again had a pleasurable experience at the school.
“I really enjoyed it,” Turner said.
Clemson’s coaching staff and culture made Turner feel comfortable while on campus.
“The coaches and how it felt like a family (stood out),” he said.
