Mackensie Alexander had a night that Will Fuller won’t soon forget.
In Clemson’s 24-22 win over Notre Dame, Alexander helped limit the All-American wide receiver to two catches for 37 yards.
“I’ve been hearing about (Fuller) for two weeks. It was great to go out and take him out, and just turn around and laugh,” Alexander told reporters early Sunday morning. “I mean…this is what I do.”
Fuller was one of the most productive receivers in the first month of the season. In each of the first four games, he scored at least one touchdown. Against, Texas, Virginia and Georgia Tech, Fuller topped the 100-yard mark.
