Loganville (Ga.) Grayson 2019 offensive tackle Wanya Morris committed to Florida State over offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Miami and Tennessee among others in early April.
His verbal pledge hasn’t deterred other programs from recruiting him, however. In fact, Morris feels it has made them more determined.
“There’s definitely been a lot more pressure,” Morris said of his recruitment since he committed. “I’m hearing from schools a lot more actually. It’s almost like they’re coming harder than before.”
Morris said he has been hearing the most from Florida and Michigan.
Clemson has been in contact, though not as much as Morris would like.
