CLEMSON – Jim Brown wanted to finish what he started and Andy Teasdall just wanted an opportunity. Both walk-ons were rewarded over the last week when head coach Dabo Swinney presented them with scholarships.
Brown will be the starting long snapper for the Tigers this season, his fifth in the program. The 6-4, 230-pounder out of Walterboro (SC) has waited patiently for his chance, sitting behind Michael Sobeski and Phillip Fajgenbaum, and he learned he would be on scholarship after a practice earlier this week.
It was something he said he hoped was on the way when linebacker Korie Rogers quit the team, opening a spot.
