Eye of the Tiger: Lawrence and Tigers don't quit in thrilling win over Buckeyes

GLENDALE, AZ – Most teams would have folded after a disastrous first half. Some teams would have folded in the second half. Others would have quit when the opponents took a late lead or were driving for the winning score. Most teams don’t have the heart of a champion or the eye of the Tiger.

No. 3 Clemson trailed Ohio St. 16-0 early and trailed 23-21 late in the fourth quarter. With the ball on their own six-yard line, the Tigers had just three minutes to drive the length of the field for a go-ahead score. Once that was accomplished, the defense had to hold as the Buckeyes drove down the field late.
