CLEMSON – The Clemson offense hasn’t had any problem finishing games this season but getting off to a fast start has been an issue that co-offensive coordinator Tony Elliott hopes to correct.
The offense turned it over on downs on the season’s first possession (against Furman), punted on the first possession against Texas A&M and followed that with an interception, fumble and punt against Georgia Southern. The Tigers also punted on each of the first two possessions against Georgia Tech, a fumble and a punt against Syracuse, and two punts and a fumble on the first three possessions at Wake Forest.
