In what was being dubbed the biggest game at Littlejohn Coliseum in 21 years, but for No. 12 Duke it was just another game.
The Blue Devils improved to 5-2 against ranked opponents this year thanks to 66-57 victory over No. 11 Clemson.
With the win, Duke (22-5) takes over sole possession of second place in the ACC at 10-4, while the Tigers drop to fourth place at 9-5.
The loss was Clemson’s second straight, the first time that has happened this season. The Tigers also suffered their first loss at Littlejohn Coliseum this season.
Clemson (20-6) trialed by as much as 10 points in the second half and rallied to the tie game with David Skara made a layup with 2:03 to play.
