No. 17 Clemson needed to leave Littlejohn with a win today after losing at NC State Thursday night 78-77. The Tigers did just that, knocking off No. 18 Miami 72-63 Saturday in Clemson.
Clemson (15-2, 4-1 ACC) needed someone to step up late in the game to ensure the victory. Graduate transfer Mark Donnal did exactly that as he came off of the bench scoring 12 points total and hitting two late three pointers to give the Tigers some cushion.
Forward Donte Grantham led the Tigers with 18 points and six rebounds. It’s now up to Grantham and the rest of the team to try to make history and be the first Clemson team to beat North Carolina (13-4, 2-2 ACC) in Chapel Hill for the first time ever this Tuesday at 7:00 p.
