Diondre Overton (6'5, 195) from Greensboro, NC committed to Clemson during the second quarter of the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl. This was a battle between N.C. State and Clemson with Clemson one again showing it can go into North Carolina and take the players they want away from in-state programs. In recent days a lot of people have been erroneously touting N.C. State as a legitimate contender, if not the leader, for Overton. That is simply not true.
Overton's mom wanted him to make a big decision on television, so Diondre waited until the all-star game.
