Through documents The Clemson Insider obtained through Clemson’s University’s Athletic Communication department, new baseball coach Monte Lee will be paid $350,000 for six years, running through the 2021 baseball season.
The contract comes out to $2.1 million dollars with bonus incentives totaling $200,000.
Lee’s has a $225,000 base salary with another $125,000 in supplement. His contract will be extended through June 30, 2021, should he be employed with the University as of July 1, 2016.
If Lee should lead the Tigers to a win in the ACC Tournament, he will receive a $2,500 incentive fee and an additional $2,500 with each win after that and no more than four wins.
