Clemson co-offensive coordinator Tony Elliott, defensive coordinator Brent Venables and several players had Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney in their thoughts and prayers as they participated in their first two-a-day session of fall camp on Monday, but Swinney’s absence did not mean there was a drop in production.
“I have not really sensed it. There has been great energy. This is an impressive bunch,” Elliott said. “They are blue collar. They like to work. There has been really good focus today. They did get a break with the weather a little bit, but they have been focused, and they understand there is still an expectation.
