Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson has certainly earned the right to be considered the best player in the nation and win the Heisman Trophy.
After 12 games, Deshaun Watson has completed 70.1% of his passes for 2,944 yards and 26 touchdowns to just 10 interceptions. He has also rushed for 642 yards and six touchdowns on the season, but his stats aren’t the most impressive part of his game.
The quarterback out of Gainesville, Georgia just refuses to lose. He plays with such heart and confidence that it spreads to his teammates. Watson leads the team by words and by his actions and on Saturday, I believe he was able to stake his claim for the Heisman Trophy.
