In 2009 Clemson fans were left to rue a perceived snub of RB C.J. Spiller. This year there will be no snub as Clemson QB Deshaun Watson has been named one of the 3 finalists for the Heisman Trophy.
Watson, a true sophomore, is the only QB named with RBs Derrick Henry from Alabama and Stanford's Christian McCaffrey rounding out the field.The winner will be announced this Saturday during the Heisman Trophy ceremony at 8pm EST.
As for Watson's chances of winning, they have to be pretty good. Watson is ranked 3rd in completion percentage and 11th in QB rating.
