Clemson played host to several standout prospects from the Tar Heel State last Saturday, including Pilot Mountain (N.C.) East Surry defensive tackle Isaac Washington.
The class of 2021 recruit had been eager to experience a game at Death Valley for the first time, and he certainly wasn’t disappointed by the atmosphere during the Tigers’ 24-10 win over Texas A&M.
“It was great. The atmosphere was great,” Washington told The Clemson Insider. “I’ve never been in such a loud stadium.”
Washington, a power conference recruit with several offers, said the highlight of his unofficial visit to Clemson was “getting to go in the locker room and seeing the excitement from the players and coaches.
