COLUMBIA — Clemson extended its lead on South Carolina in the fifth inning at Founders Park in Columbia.
The Tigers got a two-run home run from Davis Sharpe to left centerfield to extend the Tigers’ lead to 4-0 in the top of the fifth inning.
Sharps’ home run scored Kier Meredith, who got on with one-out double down the right field line.
After four and a half innings, the Tigers lead the Gamecocks 4-0.
