GREENVILLE, S.C. — Seventh-ranked Clemson took an early lead on Furman in the top of the first inning at Fluor Field on Tuesday.
Clemson lead-off hitter Logan Davidson took a 3-2 offering from Furman’s Jake Crawford to right center field with a home run. It was Davidson’s eighth home run of the season.
Following a couple of walks by Reed Rohlman and Seth Beer, Andrew Cox and Jordan Greene had RBI singles to make the score 3-0. Cox singled through the right side and Greene through the left side.
