CLEMSON – Clemson just keeps finding ways to win games, even when the opponent gets more hits.
Patrick Cromwell’s RBI single in the bottom of the eighth propelled No.12 Clemson to a 3-2 victory over Georgia Tech in the ACC opener for both teams at Doug Kingsmore Stadium Friday. The victory improved Clemson’s record to 13-1 overall and 1-0 in the ACC, while Georgia Tech fell to 9-4 overall and 0-1 in the ACC.
The Jackets tied the score in the top of the eighth, but Logan Davidson singled to center to start the bottom of the frame.
