OMAHA, Neb. — For the first time in 20 years, the Clemson basketball team will play in the Sweet 16 as the No. 5 seed Tigers play top seed Kansas today in the Midwest Regional Semifinals at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha at 7:09 p.m.
“It’s just really a sweet situation for us, really happy for our seniors who have been through some things here with our program,” Clemson head coach Brad Brownell said. “I couldn’t be more excited about having the opportunity to play a great Kansas team.
“Bill (Self) has done an unbelievable job with their team.
