When he spoke with ESPN’s Jeannine Edwards on Tuesday night, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney told her Trayvon Mullen’s decision on National Signing Day could go either way.
It went Clemson’s way.
Mullen, a four-star cornerback from Coconut Creek High School in Florida, chose Clemson over LSU and Florida State on Wednesday morning. Louisville and TCU also received official visits from Mullen.
“We are losing a great, great corner also from Florida in Mackensie Alexander, who is going to be a great pro,” Swinney told Edwards on ESPN’s signing day show. “To be able to go back down to Florida and get a young man like Trayvon Mullen, who is one of the best in the country.
