Clemson wins the ACC Atlantic

WINSTON-SALEM. N.C. — Clemson clinched a tie of the 2016 ACC’s Atlantic Division championship with a 35-13 victory over Wake Forest on Saturday at BB&T Field. With the win, Clemson also clinched a spot in the ACC Championship Game which will be played on Dec. 3 in Orlando, Florida.

The fourth-ranked Tigers finished the ACC with a 7-1 record, which earned them a share of the Atlantic, along with No. 5 Louisville. However, due to Clemson’s win over the Cardinals on Oct. 1, the Tigers advance to ACC Championship Game where they will play either North Carolina or Virginia Tech.
