The Battle of the ACC, the battle of the QBs, Clemson vs. Louisville did not disappoint. In front of the largest TV audience of the year and the biggest Saturday Night college football game since 2014, Clemson and Louisville battled until the end when the Clemson defense sealed the win, 42-36.
After the performance, Watson and Boulware both earned national awards by several different organizations. Watson in particular started to regain the praise from last year. He moved up into the 2nd spot in ESPN’s Heisman rankings.
