Former Clemson head football coach Danny Ford will be honored Saturday evening during pre-game ceremonies for his induction into the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame Class of 2017.
The announcement was originally announced on Jan. 9, 2017, the day Clemson won its first National Championship since 1981 when Ford was the Clemson head coach.
Ford is one of three coaches in the 2017 Hall of Fame class. He will be joined by former Duke, Florida and South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier and former Mount Union Coach Larry Kehres.
Ford is the fourth former Clemson head coach to be named to the National Football Foundation College Football Hall of Fame.
