Football recruiting is again the lead story for the Clemson Tigers this morning. Unfortunately, it isn’t the best news. Offensive lineman William Satterwhite committed to the Tennessee Volunteers on Friday afternoon.
Satterwhite is a 4-star inside offensive line prospect from Akron, Ohio. He is ranked 191st overall in the 247Sports Composite. He is getting ready to start his senior season at Archbishop Hoban High School.
At 6′-3″ and 300 lbs, Satterwhite would have been a strong addition to Clemson’s 2024 class. The Tigers and offensive line coach Thomas Austin might not have to wait much longer to get their next commitment though.
