Clemson tied for 10th after 1st Round of NCAA National Tournament

Underclassmen Colby Patton, Kyle Cottam and Jacob Bridgeman continued their fine play in the NCAA Tournament on Friday, leading Clemson to a 10th place standing with a 302-team score after the first round of the NCAA National Tournament at The Blessings Golf Course in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Patton and Cottam shot two-over par 74, and Bridgeman fired a three over 75 to lead the Tigers on a day when the 30-teams and 156 players had an average score of 77 on the par 72 course that is 7,550 yards in length. Only 11 of the 156 players shot under par in the first round.
