Clemson Softball Routs NC State

Clemson Softball continues to dominate in the ACC. The 24th-ranked Tigers improved to 11-2 in their last 13 league games, including Friday’s 17-3 victory over NC State at Dail Softball Stadium in Raleigh, N.C.

The Tigers (32-11, 12-4 ACC) tallied 14 hits in five innings, as the game was called after the fifth inning due to the NCAA’s 8-run mercy rule.

It was the freshman leading the way for Clemson on Friday, as shortstop Marian Collins was 2-for-3 with 5 RBIs, including a second inning grand slam, while Macey Cintron (2-4) also drove in five runs and had a fourth inning grand slam.
