Clemson recruits the state of Georgia as hard as any state in the country, and on Wednesday, the Tigers extended another offer to a Peach State prospect: 2019 defensive end Colby Wooden of Lawrenceville (Ga.) Archer.

“It felt amazing,” Wooden said of his latest offer from Clemson.

Wooden (6-3, 225) was informed of the offer by Lemanski Hall, who was hired as Clemson’s 10th full-time assistant and defensive ends coach in January.

“I was on the phone with coach Hall and he told me,” Wooden said. “(He said) that he had been watching my film for quite some time and he enjoyed watching me play.
