Clemson Rallies to Beat Stanford

CLEMSON — Jacob Jarrell smacked his fourth home run in the last three games, including a solo shot in the bottom of the sixth inning, as No. 4 Clemson rallied to beat Stanford, 11-10, Saturday at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.

Jarrell’s home run marked the third straight game he has launched a missile out of the ballpark. Saturday’s shot was a 427-foot just off centerfield and right into the scissor lift platform where the ACCN centerfield cameraman was working.

The win clinches the series for the Tigers, who have still not lost a season series this year.

In all, the Tigers and Cardinal combined for 28 hits, four of which were home runs and two doubles.
