Tonka Hemingway, a tri-sport standout at Conway (S.C.) High, is part of a family full of athletes. His youngest sister plays basketball, softball and volleyball at Conway, while his eldest sister played basketball at Coker College and currently serves as head coach of the Conway girls’ basketball team.
Hemingway’s brother Junior, meanwhile, is a former Michigan wide receiver who was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2012 NFL draft. He is currently a free agent.
Hemingway says he has learned a lot about football from his older brother, especially when it comes to putting in the work.
