Clemson Names Pitcher for Game 2 vs. Louisville

CLEMSON — Clemson officially announced its starter for tonight’s game against No. 17 Louisville. The third-ranked Tigers host the Cardinals in Game 2 of their three-game series at Doug Kingsmore Stadium starting at 5 p.m.

Clemson (34-6, 12-4 ACC) announced righty Drew Titsworth will make his first career start tonight. He has 13 appearances this season with a 3.63 ERA. He is 3-0 on the year and teams are hitting .229 in 22 1/3 innings of work.

The righty has allowed 10 runs on 19 hits. Nine of those runs are earned and he has 29 strikeouts to seven walks.
