Clemson’s baseball team completed something on Sunday few thought they could do when its weekend series with No. 4 Louisville began on Friday.
They completed a three-game sweep. The first time in its seven-year ACC history Louisville has been swept by a league opponent.
The Tigers got a three-run home run from Davis Sharpe in the first inning, while eight different players drove in at least one run in a 15-5 victory over the Cardinals at Doug Kingsmore Stadium in Clemson.
Clemson outscored the Cardinals 31-12 in the three-game series.
However, as good as things turned out, it did not start off too well for the Tigers.
