Clemson defensive back Adrian Baker is transferring, The Clemson Insider learned on Wednesday.
Baker, who started three games for the Tigers in 2015, tore his ACL early in spring practice last year. The Hallandale, Fla., native tried to come back last season, but he was not able to get back on the field on Saturdays despite returning to the practice fields near the end of the 2016 regular season.
Baker is the third player to transfer from Clemson in the last month. Jake Fruhmorgan and Tyshon Dye transferred last month.
Baker produced 15 tackles and two interceptions over 13 games as he earned first career start against Wofford in the season opener.
