Columbia (S.C.) Irmo 2019 running back Kendrell Flowers has good bloodlines.
“My uncle played for Clemson, Raymond Priester, so it kind of runs in the family,” Flowers told The Clemson Insider after the EPT Showcase in Columbia on Sunday.
Flowers said he speaks to Priester, Clemson’s all-time leading rusher, from time to time.
“When we talk, he’s always telling me he wants me to go to Clemson,” Flowers said.
Flowers, who was named running back MVP at the showcase, is a speedy, shifty and patient runner. The 6-foot, 190-pound prospect can also make plays after the catch and played a lot of slot receiver for Irmo last season.
