After signing 15 players on Dec. 20, the first day of the early signing period for college football recruits, Clemson has filled the majority of spots in its 2018 recruiting class. However, with another signing day forthcoming in about a month, the Tigers aren’t quite finished yet.
As always, the traditional National Signing Day is set for the first Wednesday in February. That date this year falls on Feb. 7, and Clemson is expected to ink a small group of additional assets.
“I think that there’s some obvious needs in our secondary in particular, offensively at receiver and the offensive line,” Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables told TCI recently.
