The 2020 Clemson football recruiting class is shaping up to be elite.
The Tigers just gained verbal commitments from 247 Sports’ Composite 4-stars Fred Davis and RJ Mickens. With the commitment of those two guys, Clemson football now has 11 commitments in the 2020 class, all of which are 4-stars.
Clemson is currently ranked second in the nation in the 247 Sports’ Composite Rankings behind Alabama, and the Tigers have three less commitments than the Crimson Tide.
Interestingly enough, Alabama’s average star-rating is 92.11, but Clemson’s is a nation-leading 94.73.
As we head into the thick of April, here’s a list of the top remaining targets for Clemson football in 2020 and who the Tigers currently lead for.
