Clemson Football: What does 3-star S Tyler Venables bring to the Tigers?

The 2020 Clemson football recruiting class picked up its 17th commitment of the cycle when 3-star S Tyler Venables committed to the Tigers this past weekend.

Venables- the son of Clemson football defensive coordinator Brent Venables- was always expected to commit to the Tigers, just as his brother Jake did a couple of years ago.

He plays for Daniel High School and is an extremely talented athlete. Venables plays quarterback and has thrown for more than 3,000 yards and rushed for close to 1,000. If you watch much of his film, you’ll see that Venables is a one-man show in many cases and that he is a leader on that Daniel High School football team.
