It’s absolutely amazing to think about Travis Etienne’s journey to ultimately ending up with the Clemson football program.
Etienne, at one time, was a Texas A&M commit and wasn’t offered by Clemson until late in the recruiting process. As a matter of fact, the Tigers wouldn’t have ever offered him had it not been for a decommitment late in the cycle that left them scrambling to find a running back to simply fill the class.
Fast-forward just a few years, and Etienne has won a National Championship, been named the ACC Player of the Year in back-to-back season and holds the all-time rushing record for Clemson football.
